Patchbay is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Douyin, TikTok, ByteDance, X, Farcaster, YouTube, Bilibili, Kick, Flap, genius.fun, four.meme, PancakeSwap or Binance. Their names identify the services we read from or route through, nothing more.
2Creators haven't endorsed anything
A token can name any account, and that account doesn't need to agree or even know. A creator on this site has not endorsed the token that named them, has not endorsed Patchbay, and has not endorsed anything else. Naming someone to suggest otherwise breaks the terms.

4What we control (attesters, guardian, liveness)
- ATTESTERS
- A set of signers (M of N, with an independent third party) that check proofs and sign binds. Rotating the set takes 72 hours; one can be revoked at once.
- GUARDIAN
- A multisig that can cancel pending binds and opt-outs. It cannot propose a bind or move funds.
- SAFE 2/3
- Owns the registry settings above. It cannot touch balances, splits or code.
- LIVENESS
- Whether new binds get signed at all. See section 5.
We cannot move balances, change a split or upgrade a contract. There are no proxies and no admin withdraw.
5Liveness
If Patchbay and its attesters disappear, balances of creators who never linked stay frozen until an attester signs again. Creators already linked keep claiming on their own. An independent backup attester can take over if the active set stays below its threshold for 90 days.
6Crypto only, no fiat
Payouts are in BNB or in stablecoins on BNB Chain. We don't convert to or from money, and there is no route to RMB or any bank account. Taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
7Not audited yet
Not audited yet. We will never call this code audited until an external report exists.
When the report exists, it will be linked from the manual next to the contract addresses.
8Unclaimed and opt-out rules
- Unclaimed fees never expire and never go to us.
- An opt-out waits 72 hours in public and can be cancelled in that window.
- After it takes effect, the balance is held for 90 days and the creator can undo the opt-out until then.
- Only after that can the held balance move, to a fixed address in the contract, never to us.

$PATCH is pre-launch and not deployed. It gives no right to revenue, governance or anything else. Tokens can go to zero. Not offered where prohibited, including mainland China.
