How the PB-01 works.
Patchbay sends a token's creator fee to a vault keyed to a creator's platform ID. The creator claims it to their own wallet when they prove it's them. Nothing expires, and nothing unclaimed ever goes to us.

1Overview
Patchbay is a fee router on BNB Chain. Anyone can launch a token on Flap or genius.fun (or register an existing genius.fun token) and point its creator fee at a vault keyed to a creator's platform identity: a Douyin uid, a TikTok user_id, an X user id or a Farcaster FID.
Every trade drips fees into that vault. When a fee arrives, the vault splits it: 80 % to the creator escrow under the creator's key, 20 % to the protocol. The creator claims whenever they prove the account is theirs. Until then the money waits in a contract, with no expiry and no path to us.
What Patchbay is not
- Not a launchpad. Flap and genius.fun run the tokens.
- Not an exchange. We never convert anyone's balance; a creator can ask for USDT inside their own claim.
- Not a custodian of balances. No function in the escrow lets us move them.
- Not endorsed by any creator named here.

2Supported launchpads
A token reaches Patchbay in one of three modes. Launch creates the token with its fee already pointed at the vault. Register re-points the fee of a token that already exists. Walletless is a guide: you launch on the venue yourself and paste the vault as the beneficiary.
| VENUE | LAUNCH | REGISTER | WALLETLESS | ADDRESS ENDS IN | STATUS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FLAP | Yes | No · only Flap's admin can re-point | Guide | …7777 | Live |
| GENIUS.FUN | Yes | Yes · one tx from the launching wallet | Guide | …6666 | Live |
| FOUR.MEME | Yes | No | No | …ffff | Soon |
How each venue pays
Flap pushes the tax to the vault as it's collected. genius.fun holds it in its own fee escrow until the vault pulls it; a keeper pulls every few minutes. four.meme will push to the vault as the token's founder.
The launchpad's cut
- Flap: Flap keeps a tiered share of the tax (10 % at tax ≤ 3 %, 5 % around 5 %, 3 % at 9–10 %), then 6 % of the remainder goes to the protocol as commission (floor(60000/tax) bps when tax > 1 %).
- genius.fun: Fixed 2 % fee: 1 % to the destination (creator vault, or the Foundation if the token set toFoundation), 0.5 % platform, 0.25 % creator, 0.25 % buyback.
- four.meme: The whole tax goes to the vault as founder; four.meme charges its own 1 % trading fee on the curve, on top.
3Supported platforms
A creator is named by platform and stable ID, never by handle. Handles change and get resold. The ID doesn't.
| PLATFORM | STABLE ID | HOW THEY PROVE IT | STATUS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Douyin | uid | Code in bio, read from 2 sources | Live |
| TikTok | user_id | Code in bio, read from 2 sources | Live |
| X | user id | Sign in (OAuth) | Live |
| Farcaster | FID | Sign in with Farcaster | Live |
| YouTube | channelId | Code in bio, read from 2 sources | Soon |
| Bilibili | mid | Code in bio, read from 2 sources | Soon |
| Kick | user_id | Sign in (OAuth) | Soon |
Why IDs, not handles
If @name is renamed or sold, the vault keeps following the account ID. The new owner of the old handle can't claim. Pages at /c/<platform>/<id> use the ID too.
Soon
YouTube, Bilibili and Kick are reserved in the registry and stay closed until their reading and proof paths pass testing.
4Naming a creator
When you launch, the form resolves the handle to a stable ID from 2 independent sources and shows you the account before you sign. If the 2 sources don't agree, the token can't be launched: a vault with the wrong ID would hold money nobody can ever claim.
Signals we show
- POSSIBLE IMPERSONATION: the handle is 2 edits or fewer from a known creator (rn for m, 0 for o). The launch waits until you confirm the exact account.
- NEW ACCOUNT: the account is younger than 90 days.
- DEPLOYER GETS PAID: the wallet that launched the token is the creator's linked wallet. The deployer reward then joins the creator share and is never paid twice.
- NON-CANONICAL KEY: a vault created outside our launcher with an ID that doesn't pass validation.
What naming does not mean
Being named doesn't mean a creator agreed, knows, or endorses anything. Using a name to suggest otherwise breaks the terms.
5The 80 / 20 split
Every fee that reaches a token's vault is split when it arrives: 80 % to the creator's escrow, 20 % to the protocol, which buys $PATCH and burns it. The split is fixed at launch and has no setter.
- CREATOR
- 80 %
- PROTOCOL
- 20 %
- DEPLOYER REWARD
- 0 to 10 %, out of the 80 %
- CHANGEABLE AFTER LAUNCH
- NO
Per 100 BNB of volume
The 80 % is of what reaches the vault, after the launchpad's cut. On Flap at a 1 % tax the creator ends up with 67.7 % of the whole tax. On genius.fun the creator gets 1.000 of every 2.000 in fees (0.200 if the token sends its share to the Foundation).
| CONFIG | FEE | LAUNCHPAD | COMMISSION | VAULT | CREATOR | PROTOCOL 20 % | PROTOCOL TOTAL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flap · tax 1 % | 1.000 | 0.100 | 0.054 | 0.846 | 0.677 | 0.169 | 0.223 |
| Flap · tax 3 % | 3.000 | 0.300 | 0.054 | 2.646 | 2.117 | 0.529 | 0.583 |
| genius.fun · to creator | 2.000 | 0.750 | 0.000 | 1.250 | 1.000 | 0.250 | 0.250 |
| genius.fun · to Foundation | 2.000 | 1.750 | 0.000 | 0.250 | 0.200 | 0.050 | 0.050 |
| four.meme · tax 3 % · soon | 3.000 | (1.000) | 0.000 | 3.000 | 2.400 | 0.600 | 0.600 |
FEE = LAUNCHPAD + COMMISSION + VAULT · VAULT = CREATOR + PROTOCOL 20 % · PROTOCOL TOTAL = COMMISSION + PROTOCOL 20 %. In brackets: four.meme charges its 1 % trading fee apart; it doesn't come out of the tax.
Why no setter
A split that can be changed later is a promise, not a split. The vault is a minimal clone with the split written at creation and no function to rewrite it. Changing the protocol share would take a new factory, and vaults already created keep theirs.
6Deployer reward
The wallet that launches a token can take 0 to 10 % of the vault, set once at launch. It comes out of the creator's 80 %, so at 5 % the split reads 75 / 20 / 5.
- RANGE
- 0 to 10 % of the vault
- SET
- Once, at launch
- COMES FROM
- The creator's 80 %
- IF THE DEPLOYER IS THE CREATOR
- Added to the creator share
When it drops to 0
If we find a link between the deployer and the creator (the same wallet, funding from the deployer, a lookalike handle), new launches for that pair go out with a reward of 0 and the token shows DEPLOYER GETS PAID.
Why it exists
Someone pays the gas and does the launching. A small, public, capped reward beats a hidden dev fee.
7How a creator claims
- FIND YOUR PORT: pick the platform and type your handle.
- CONNECT WALLET: connect the BNB Chain wallet that will sign. Not an exchange deposit address.
- PROVE IT'S YOU: sign in (X, Farcaster) or paste a short code in your bio (Douyin, TikTok).
- COLLECT: to this wallet, to your Binance in USDT, or as a daily auto-pay.
The public window
After the proof, a bind waits 48 hours in public before it's final. If the account already has a wallet linked or a large balance, it waits 7 days. Anyone can see it, and the current wallet or the guardian can cancel it.
After the first claim
Once linked, the keeper pays out daily to your wallet. You can also claim by hand at any time, or sign a claim and let the relayer pay the gas for a fee the contract caps at 1 %.
What it costs
The network fee for a claim on BNB Chain is about $0.01.
8Bio-codes and sign-in
Where a platform has a sign-in we can check (X, Farcaster), you sign in. Where it doesn't (Douyin, TikTok), you paste a code in your bio.
The code
It looks like PTCH-7K2Q9M4P (PTCH- and 8 characters). It is made from your platform, your ID, the wallet that will sign and a nonce, and it expires in 48 hours. It says nothing about crypto or money. You can delete it as soon as the bind is proposed.
Two readers
The bio is read from 2 independent sources, never twice from the same one. If they disagree, nothing is signed and you try again in an hour.
Who signs
An attester checks the proof and signs a bind for your key and your wallet only. The escrow rejects any other signature.
9Getting paid to Binance
You can send a claim to your Binance deposit address on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). Until we have proven that Binance credits BNB arriving from a contract, this route pays in USDT: the claim swaps inside the same transaction, with a minimum you set.
- NETWORK
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)
- ASSET
- USDT for now
- SWAP
- PancakeSwap, inside your claim, with your minimum
- YOUR LINKED WALLET
- A wallet you control, never the exchange address
Why the exchange address can't be linked
The linked wallet signs claims, rebinds and opt-outs. A deposit address can't sign.
CHECK THE NETWORK TWICE
10Unclaimed fees
Unclaimed fees never expire and never go to us. They wait in the escrow under the creator's key for as long as it takes.
There is no sweep, no deadline and no admin function that can take them. The only rule that ever moves an unclaimed balance is the creator's own opt-out (section 11).
What you see
Every creator and token page shows what is owed in BNB, and in USDT when the pair is USDT. Analytics publishes the claim rate.
11Opting out
A creator who doesn't want any of this can opt out, in Chinese and without signing in if needed.
- New tokens can't name you.
- Tokens that name you are hidden here.
- Your balance stays in the vault for 90 days and you can undo the opt-out until then.
- The opt-out waits 72 hours in public before it takes effect, so nobody can do it to you by surprise.
Email only hides
An email request hides you on this site and blocks your handle in our launcher. It never moves funds.
What we can't stop
Anyone can still create a token with your name on Flap or genius.fun. We don't run those venues. We won't list it or pay it out.
12$PATCH and the burn
20 % of every vault fee goes to the protocol. The protocol uses it to buy $PATCH on the market and burn it, weekly, in public transactions.
- STATUS
- Pre-launch, not deployed
- FUNDED BY
- 20 % of what reaches each vault
- NEVER FUNDED BY
- Unclaimed fees or opt-outs
- RIGHTS
- None: no revenue, no governance, no discount
You don't need $PATCH to use Patchbay. Until its address appears on the $PATCH sheet, any $PATCH you see is not ours.
13Who else can touch a fee
Patchbay's contracts have no admin over balances or splits. The venues and the DEX do have powers, and we list them for every token.
| WHO | CAN | NOTICE | WE WATCH |
|---|---|---|---|
| FLAP SAFE 3/4 | Re-point a token's fee; change its fee profile | None | MarketWalletChanged |
| GENIUS SAFE 2/3 | Replace the fee recipient | 3-day timelock + 3-day window | CreatorFeeRecipientChangeProposed |
| PANCAKESWAP | Pause Infinity pools; charge up to 0.4 % per side | Not published | Pause events |
| PATCHBAY (SAFE 2/3 + ATTESTERS) | Rotate attesters (72 h); cancel pending binds and opt-outs | Public | Registry events |
What we can't do
Move balances, change splits or upgrade the contracts. There are no proxies.
Liveness
For platforms without an on-chain proof, a bind needs our attesters. If they stop, linked creators keep claiming. Unlinked balances wait until an attester signs again.
14If a token isn't registering
If your token doesn't show up, check these in order.
- The venue. Flap tokens can't be registered after launch: only Flap's admin can re-point them. genius.fun tokens can, in one transaction from the wallet that launched them.
- The address. Flap tokens end in …7777 and genius.fun tokens in …6666.
- The wallet. Register has to come from the token's current fee recipient.
- The value. Some genius.fun tokens send 1 % to the Foundation. Registering one of those sends 0.25 % of volume to the vault instead of 1.25 %. The form reads this before you sign.
Open the register form with your address: Register a token.
